👋 Start here
Tabea,
I’m Ghazali Ohorella. Alifuru from Maluku. 20+ years inside UN negotiating rooms.
I built this because I got tired of watching people rock up to a UN session with a position paper and a prayer. Spray and pray. And then afterwards be like, what the hell just happened? That’s the bad version. The good version is you do the spray and pray thing, something pops up, and you go, oh yeah, we worked for that. But like, did you? Or did someone behind the scenes actually help a delegation find the right language? Because nine out of ten times, that is what actually happened.
The information gap is the weapon. This closes it.

FREE MEMBERSHIP
The Saturday Newsletter
Every Saturday. Under 4 minutes. I take one moment from the week and unpack it. What it tells you about power, negotiation, and how decisions actually move at the UN. What you can do about it.
This is the finished take. The polished read.
Library
Playbooks, SOPs, frameworks, strategic breakdowns. How the caucus actually works versus what people think it does. How to read body language in a bilateral. How the UN80 review threatens the mechanisms you depend on.
The Library shows you how the system works. I probably should not be giving all this away for free, but here we are.

The Brief (BTS)
Every single day, I sit down and debrief what happened. Unedited. Unscripted. Sometimes I am in the bathroom because the lighting is better than in the bedroom. Sometimes it is midnight and I just came from a kava bar with an ambassador.
What moved. Why it moved. What signal it gives off. What it changes for Indigenous positioning across the board.
The Saturday Newsletter is the finished take. The Brief is the behind the scenes of how that finished take gets made. You get my thinking while it is still raw. The same read I would give a colleague over coffee at the UN before the next session starts.
GaGa: Go Ask Ghazali Anything
Monthly (live) sessions. You bring your situation. I tell you how I would approach it. Which process to engage. Which delegation to talk to. What to say and what not to say.
Bring real questions. Get real answers. Not the generic kind. The specific, “here is what I would do if I were you” kind.
